Kazakhstan Medical University for Continuing Education was founded in August 1963.
The university awards a bachelor’s degree in 5 specialties: general medicine, dentistry, public health, nursing, pharmacy, and awards students training in two disciplines: general medicine and dentistry. General medical training includes: “Obstetrics and Gynecology”, “Surgical Diseases”, “Internal Diseases”, “General Medical Practice”, “Pediatrics”. “Medical and preventive work,” “nursing,” residency in 29 majors.
KazMUCE is the first medical university in Kazakhstan, where the innovative model of medical education and improvement of the quality of medical services was introduced through telemedicine – echo project was presented.
