Study in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan is a transcontinental country, mostly located in Central Asia, while a smaller part of it is located west of the Ural River in Eastern Europe. 

Kazakhstan has a common border with Russia to the north, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan to the south and China to the east, bordered by the Caspian Sea to the west.

Kazakhstan is made up of 16 provinces ,and the Kazakh people make up 53.4% of the total population, most of whom speak Kazakh, the language of the state and have Turkish origins..
The Russian language, which is used as the second official language in government institutions, is also prevalent in Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan is also a secular state whose constitution does not include a particular religion and stipulates that there is no distinction between different ethnic groups, all of which are before the law. The percentage of Muslims is 60%, Orthodox Christians 30% Protestant Christians 3% and other religions 7%.%.

Kazakhstan’s climate Continental is very cold in winter and hot in summer, and the average temperature in winter in the central and northern regions ranges from 15°C below zero to 35°C below zero, either in the southern regions with temperatures ranging from 0 to 20°C below zero, while the average temperature in July is between 27°C above zero in the north and 33°C in the south of summer.

The capital of new Kazakhstan is Astana ,and the ancient capital is Almaty, which has retained its importance as the country’s financial, economic, social and cultural center.

The most important cities in the Republic include Qaraghandy, Shim Kent, Pavlodar, Tarraz and Oskomen.

The official currency used is Tinge and every US dollar is approximately375 tinge.

The study system in Kazakhstan

The school system followed is the quarterly system so that the school year consists of two semesters (4 months per semester).

Teaching language

Preparatory year

The student is subjected to studying Russian before attending university to ensure his mastery of the country’s language and use during the course of practical training in hospitals.

The period of bringing university admission and visa

–       The university admission time takes between 5 and 10 days.

–       The period of filing the visa from (15) working days from the date of receipt of admission and the required papers are complete.
