In 1930, by the decision of the Russian Board of Education, the first institute was established in Kazakhstan.
The Kazakh National Medical University is located in Almaty, the ancient capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is the first medical university in the Republic to which it belongs and is cooperated by most of the renowned Kazakh doctors at the level of the Kazakh Republic. There are more than 11,000 students studying various academic disciplines and degrees at the university. There are more than 1,500 faculty members working at the university, including more than 200 science doctors, 130 professors, more than 500 science candidates and 15 state award laureates.

2 – Therapeutic College
3 – Faculty of Pediatrics
4 – Preventive Medical College
5- Faculty of Dentistry
6 – Faculty of Pharmacy
7 – Faculty of Management in Public Health and Pharmacy
8 – Graduate School
